Does your audience understand what you offer?
Not sure? Then Hi, I’m Lucy - I help companies talk about their business in the best way possible — finding effective ways to communicate and connect with their audience.
Through data analysis, competitor profiles and brand narrative building, I can help you work out what your customers understand about your business.
Okay so what can you do for us?
Good question. There are a few options for how we can work together but if you don’t see what you’re looking for then get in touch here to have a chat. Depending on your needs, timelines and budgets I can:
Develop a one-off strategy to hand over to your team to implement
Develop the strategy, hand-over to your team and keep a monthly retainer to ensure quality, efficiency etc
Develop the strategy and oversee implementation with a hand-picked team I can manage
Work
REKKI
REKKI is a B2B marketplace for restaurants and wholesale suppliers. It has over 1000s restaurants and suppliers using the app.
At REKKI I created the overall marketing and brand strategy and oversaw all company communications. I built the team and increased organic website traffic by 50%. Created OOH, direct mail, and digital marketing campaigns over Facebook, Instagram, and Google. We were able to increase our social following by over 10,000 on Instagram and TikTok in six months.
WeTransfer
WeTransfer is one of the world’s biggest file-sending services and most of its 50 million monthly users come from the creative industries. The challenge for the brand was how to create a sense of community with its users and build emotional connections for what is quite a practical service.
Initially brought in to head the brand’s photography vertical, I later led the content team as it launched its award-winning WePresent platform and levelled up its ambition, creating projects with major creative names like FKA twigs, Ryan McGinley and the Tate Museum group. As part of my role, I spearheaded data-led reviews to analyse the success of our content and helped the team use that data to plan more effective content strategies.
Overtime Leader
OverTime Leader is a leadership and management development agency that supports technology leaders for some of the world’s most dynamic organisations. I helped its founder distill and define the brand’s core messages, making sure they are deployed in prominent places across their communications.
We also developed a content strategy to help differentiate OverTime in a crowded market, showing rather than telling how OverTime’s principles manifest in real-world situations.
EyeEm
EyeEm is a start-up that empowers millions of photographers around the world to make money from their work. The challenge here was to attract new uses and convince potential community members that we were on their side.
We developed a content strategy that engaged photographers on both a global and a local scale through a printed magazine, a blog, an awards scheme, exhibitions and bespoke events like photo walks. All of our content was produced by a small in-house team of four people and by the time I left we had a loyal, international community of 22 million photographers.
